What are the Residence Halls Like?

Whether you come to Old Westbury from around the world or around the corner, the College's residence halls offer a unique opportunity to learn about yourself and the people with which you share the world.

You may live in a hall dedicated to students who are new to campus. Perhaps you'll live in a hall whose programming and activities are centered on particular academic or social issues? You may have the opportunity to live in a hall with 24-hour-a-day quiet hours. Or, you can ask to live in a standard hall setting.

Each three-story structure features:

• Over-sized double-occupancy rooms that each include:
  • Satellite television service
  • 2 data ports (DS-3 service for all!)
  • 2 telephone lines
  • Independent heating and air conditioning controls
• Study lounges on each floor
• Laundry and kitchenette facilities on each floor
• State-of-the-art security and fire safety technologies
