Health-Related Requirements for Students Immunization Record: New York State Public Health Law (Article 21, Title VI, Section 2165) requires all enrolled college students born after January 1, 1957 to show proof of immunity against measles, mumps and rubella. These records are required upon entry to the College and are kept on file in the Office of Student Health Services. Health Fee: The SUNY Board of Trustees requires that all students partially fund the campus Student Health Service. This fee is due upon entry in the College. Further information is available from the Office of Financial Aid. Insurance: Documented health insurance coverage is mandatory only for international students. However, while not required, health and dental plans are recommended for all students and are available through the College. Students who have no other coverage are urged to subscribe. International students are advised to contact the Office of Enrollment Services for information about mandatory health insurance coverage.
