Its primary purpose is to sponsor events and organizations that meet the needs of students and address student concerns. Through the proceeds from the Student Activity Fee, SGA funds clubs and organizations in which membership is open to all students of the College. The leadership of the SGA is elected annually through a campus-wide student vote. Students are elected in accordance with SGA bylaws to serve in the positions of: President Vice President Governor of Social Affairs Treasurer Executive Secretary Senate Secretary 1 Senator for each academic department 4 commuter senators 4 residential senators Senior Class President Junior Class President Sophomore Class President Freshman Class President Chief Justice 2 Associate Chief Justices Assistant Chief Justice 5 judges Contacting the SGA The SGA Office is located on the third floor of the Student Union and can be reached at (516) 876-3273.
