Instructions for Enrolling in NET Courses Courses with the SEC designation "NET" in the schedule of classes are offered via the internet. Students participate in these courses by accessing the course website at times of their own choosing periodically each week. Students must register normally for the course, a process that begins for students who have never attended Old Westbury in the Office of Enrollment Services. Then within one week before the start of the semester students must access the SUNY Learning Network website at http://sln.suny.edu/sln and follow the links there to obtain a password, complete the orientation exercises, and access the course. To take a NET course, students need the use of an internet-capable computer, an internet connection, and an email address (student computing center computers and college email accounts may be used). For further information contact the SLN Campus Academic Coordinator, Professor Bever, at bevere@oldwestbury.edu or 516-876-3110. For technical assistance accessing the SLN website, please contact the SLN Help Desk at 1-800-875-6269.
