Librarians are available to give classes instruction in the use of Library resources.
Class sessions may include library tours, demonstration of online catalogs and
databases, and instruction in the use of basic reference tools such as indexes
and encyclopedias. Class sessions can be tailored to the needs of individual
courses including the topics to be covered, emphasis on specific
sources, and the preparation of special bibliographies and handouts.
Faculty may
also be interested in our Research Consultation Service which
will bring a librarian to your office to help you with your computer-based
research. When you call for an appointment we will want to know what your
interests are so that we can prepare. In the past library research required
a physical
library; now we can bring at least part of the library to you.
