The Library subscribes to a number of database services designed to help you locate articles in journals, newspapers, magazines, and reference sources. These databases are available from on and off-campus computers. You must be a College at Old Westbury student or staff member to access these databases from off campus.
Citation
Linker finds
the
full
text
of
an
article
you
already
know
about,
if
it
is
available
in
our
online
databases.
If
it
is
not
available
you
will
have
the
option
to
request
it.
Electronic Journal Portal will let you search for a journal by title or ISSN (standard number) or browse alphabetically much as you would browse the shelves. Once you find a journal, you can click on issues, tables of contents, and the articles themselves.
Search Databases will
allow you to select a database
and search for articles by subject.
