Since 1993, SUNY College at Old Westbury has endeavored to honor those businesses that have succeeded in developing strong international trade programs and to enhance opportunities for new businesses to cultivate relationships with potential export partners through its International Partnership Awards Luncheon. At the same time, it raises funds to ensure that Old Westbury's students have the best educational experience possible - both on campus and through international study.

Highlighting the 2008 International Partnership Awards Luncheon will be a keynote address by Mr. Robert Rubin, former U.S. Treasury Secretary and currently Director and Chairman of the Executive Committee for Citigroup.

Developed under the leadership of the College's Long Island International Partnership Committee the International Partnership Awards since its founding have provided scholarships for nearly 150 students of SUNY College at Old Westbury to study abroad in China, England, Mexico, Puerto Rico, South Africa, South Korea, and Spain.
