The Politics, Economics and Law Department provides a rigorous and integrated preparation in the social sciences for students who intend to enter graduate or law school; for students who plan to seek employment in government, business, social services, and political organizations.
Cross-cultural exchanges are a key component of each course of study and students benefit from small-class settings where the department's diverse, respected faculty offer face to face instruction.
While many graduates have directly entered careers with such organizations as banking and brokerage firms, government and public agencies, and human service organizations, others have gone on to pursue graduate studies in such fields as law, public policy, economics, human resources and international relations before embarking on their successful careers.
