Association for Computing Machinery Student Chapter: The College's ACM
Chapter regularly participates in regional ACM Programming Contests where Old
Westbury students perform competitively with students from major colleges and
universities throughout the Northeast.
Society for the Advancement of Management: Through regular meetings, projects, community involvement, and corporate
and professional speakers, the Society
for the Advancement of Management provides students with an opportunity
to network and gain firsthand practical experience.
The Marketing Society: This
society seeks to enhance students' marketing
knowledge, skills, professionalism and leadership abilities. Events are educational,
career-oriented, social and community-oriented. Activities include speakers
from the industry who provide career information, networking, field trips,
fundraising, and sponsoring media and cultural projects.
