Accounting

Accounting is the language of business. It is used to communicate financial and other information to people, organizations and governments. Under that definition, Old Westbury's Accounting program is among the finest "linguistics" programs of its kind.

Old Westbury students receive instruction from Accounting faculty members who are experienced educators with extensive knowledge in their areas of specialization, including public accounting, private industry, government and not-for-profit organizations. Given the small class sizes, the Accounting faculty is able to maintain a close working relationship with students and is readily available outside of the classroom.
