SUNY College at Old Westbury assigned you an official e-mail account as soon as you were admitted to the College. Since the College uses your campus e-mail account regularly, you need to make sure your account and password are active and up-to-date and that you review your e-mail on a regular basis.

Here's how:


1. To find out what your e-mail account name and password are, login to the “Student Information System” using the link below:

   • Use your Student ID Number (that’s the number that starts with 700… that you received when you were admitted.
   • Then use your initial PIN number (your birthday in MM/DD/YY format). Once logged in, use the functions available to change the PIN to something you will remember long term.


2. Click on: View E-mail and Network Account. This page will show your e-mail and network username and password. Write this information down and remember it (like you would for your personal e-mail) or change your password.


3. Visit mail.oldwestbury.edu (available via the webmail link at the top of the College website).


4. Login with your e-mail and network username and password, and you will be connected to the campus community and ready to communicate!
