To apply for freshman admission, a completed application must include the following:
- A SUNY application (available at our office
or at your high school). You may also file the SUNY online application
by accessing the Internet at
http://www.suny.edu/student/apply_online.cfm
- An official high school
transcript.
- SAT scores or ACT scores.
- A $40 application fee.
- An Old Westbury Supplemental Application an autobiographical statement OR Click
here to download the Supplemental Essay form. Note: Supplemental/Essays are OPTIONAL
- Once you have applied, you can check on the status of your application by logging into the secure student information system located at the top of our
website: www.oldwestbury.edu. You can sign into the secure system by using your social security number or Student ID number as your username, and the initial
password is your date of birth (six digits, no hyphens or spaces). You will receive an email once you apply which will provide these instructions.
The Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) is available for academically and
financially disadvantaged students. Information regarding EOP and other special
programs for adult students is available through the Office of Enrollment Services.
