It is important to understand that scholarships are both an honor and a funding
vehicle. The financial aspects of scholarships are governed by rules and regulations
and are administered by the Office of Financial Aid.
Students may not receive
total annual financial aid (Federal, State, Private, Institutional, grants,
scholarships, loans etc.) in excess of Old Westbury's
budgeted cost of attendance. Sometimes it may be necessary to reduce scholarship
award amounts in order to stay in compliance with this Federal regulation.
If you receive a scholarship from any source other than the College or the
Old Westbury College Foundation, Inc., you should contact your financial
aid advisor to see how it may affect your overall financial aid package.
For
more information on scholarships,
contact Ms. Mary D'Antonio in
the Office of Academic Affairs,
