At
the mid-point of the fall and
spring semesters, mid-term grades
are submitted by faculty to the
Office of the Registrar. These
grades are not retained in the
permanent record, calculated in
the GPA or recorded on academic
transcripts. The purpose of mid-term
grades is to provide students
with a report of their academic
progress. Mid-term grades are
accessed using the following grade
structure:

Final
grades for summer, spring, winter
and fall semesters are submitted
by faculty to the Office of the
Registrar 48 hours after the final
exam. The grades are processed
by the Registrar and are available
to students on the WEB approximately
two
weeks after receipt.
The grading system and corresponding quality points used on transcripts provides
for 17 letter grades consisting of A (4.00), A- (3.70),B+(3.30), B(3.00), B-(2.70),
C+(2.30), C(2.00), C-(1.70), D+(1.30), D(1.00), D-(0.70), F(0.00), CR.
All grades except CR are assigned quality points and are calculated in a student's
GPA.
