When seeing with the imagination, art is everywhere. It celebrates interactions which make us human. Art shapes ideas which structure our world, from culture to business, from science to literature. In this spirit, the Department of Visual Arts offers a wide range of courses in studio, digital, and graphic arts, as well as the philosophy of art. The courses as a whole provide a balance between theory, history, and practice in the arts.
