The Sociology Department offers both a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees in Sociology as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology.

In the tradition of liberal arts education, the department integrates both a theoretical understanding and its application to various components of the society, including government, healthcare, education, the family, the criminal justice system, the workplace and the social welfare system. Students are well prepared to address many social issues and problem areas in terms of social policies established in the society.
