The
Horace and Amy Hagedorn Fund
of the Long Island Community
Foundation
SUNY
College at Old Westbury is profoundly
grateful to Mrs. Amy Hagedorn
whose generous pledge of $500,000
has made possible the introduction
of the Community Engagement and
Partnership Center. Initiated
in 2006, Mrs. Hagedorn’s
support will help sustain the
program during its first four
years of operation. At the same
time, Mrs. Hagedorn has challenged
the Old Westbury College Foundation,
Inc., the not-for-profit fundraising
organization which supports the
College, to generate no less than
$25,000 of additional support
annually for CEPC.
The
Keyspan Foundation, in 2007, announced a four-year, $100,000 commitment to support SUNY College at Old Westbury and
its Community Engagement and Partnership Center. Provided in installments of $25,000 annually, this support will assist the Center with
its curricular, service and assessment activities. At the same time, CEPC will work with the Keyspan Foundation to identify potential
partnering organizations where students and faculty of the College can engage in service.
