All students must get academic advisement before registering for courses for spring and fall semesters. Advisement is not required to register for summer sessions and winter session.
The main purpose of advisement is to ensure that the courses you are registering for are appropriate to your academic program.
Make an appointment:
It is a student’s responsibility to make an appointment with a designated advisor in a timely manner and to maintain the appointment.
Meet your advisor and obtain a Registration PIN:
Upon the conclusion of an advisement session, a student will receive an ALTERNATE PIN that is necessary for On-the-Web registration. The Alternate PIN is valid until the end of the first week of a semester.
Register for classes:
Remember
that you are not registered for
the courses you have chosen with
your advisor until you register
for these courses on your own
on the Internet. (Click here to see the detailed instructions
on how to register for courses
on-line.)
Make sure you pay the tuition bill:
If you have applied for financial aid, it
is
your
responsibility
to
ensure
that
the
award
money
will
be
sent
to
the
Bursar
by
the
payment
due
date. Non-payment by the due date results in being charged a late fee and cancellation of registration. Once your registration is cancelled, there is no guarantee that you can re-enroll in the same course(s).
